Brent I'm a big fan of yours. Anyways I have a LOT of questions to ask you. I'll approach it by asking you one at a time like Craig has. It's great to actually have YOU answer the questions. Anyways I'll start off with a suggestion instead of question. You asked another person what they would like to see in an instructional video. Rather than showing licks which are great it would be neat to have a video where you discuss your approach to the studio and/or music. For example in the new Vintage Guitar mag you speak very eloquently on that. For example go in depth on your sounds and how to obtain them. How do you approach or choose a particular sound for a song? How do you choose which guitar for the sound? Amp? etc. You have some great tones it would be great to discuss how you use your Rack to achieve certain tones. For example clean chorush tones, clean twang tones, lead tones etc. Then perhaps how you practiced when you were younger or in preparation for studio work (aspiring studio musicians would like to know this). Anyways I hope this is of help. I don't know if anyone currently has a video like this out. Usually it's just licks. You are one of THE studio top dogs let us in on your knowledge. Also it's great to know that you are Christian. I was very impressed when I saw an article on you in Guitar Player mag and they had a pic or you rig with the scripture verse on it.
